Return, Exchanges & Cancellations

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes. Please contact us within 5 business days of delivery or pickup to request a return or exchange. Items must be unassembled, in resaleable condition, and in their original packaging with all hardware, parts, and instructions.

How do I request a return?

Email us at sales@hampsonandcofurniture.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Delivery or pickup date
  • Reason for return or exchange
We’ll reply within 2 business days with return shipping costs and refund details. You will have 5 business days to approve. If we don’t hear back, the request will be closed.

How much does a return cost?

Return shipping depends on your location and the product size. We will email you a quote before arranging pickup. Original delivery or shipping fees are non-refundable.

What if my order arrives damaged or defective?

If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will take care of it under our claims process. Please email photos of the damaged item, packaging, and your order number. We will arrange replacement parts, repair, or a discount. If you choose not to go through the claims process, it becomes a return, and return shipping charges will apply.

Can I return assembled furniture?

Items must be unassembled to qualify for return. If your furniture is already assembled, please email us photos and details. We will review and let you know if an exception is possible, but approval is not guaranteed.

Can I exchange for a different product?

Yes—if the item is not final sale or custom-made. Exchanges must be for an item of equal or greater value. You are responsible for 50% of the return shipping. The original product must be returned and inspected before the new item is shipped.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed once the product arrives back at our warehouse and passes inspection. Refunds typically take 3–7 business days to appear on your original payment method. We will email you once completed.

What happens after my return is approved?

Please make sure:

  • All parts, hardware, and instructions are repacked in the original boxes
  • Boxes are taped and sealed securely
  • Any provided labels are attached
  • You are available for pickup by the courier

Can I cancel my order before it ships?

Yes—standard orders can be cancelled at no charge prior to shipping. If your order has already shipped, it is considered a return and return shipping applies. Orders financed through PayBright/Affirm have a 10% cancellation fee, even if not shipped.

What orders cannot be cancelled or returned?

  • Orders that have already shipped
  • Custom-made products (fabric, colour, configuration, etc.)
  • Final sale or “as-is” items
  • Opened mattresses or bedding (unless covered by a sleep trial)
  • Flat-pack RTA furniture (e.g., Prepac)
  • Furniture damaged or altered by the customer
